Atlanta Pajama Jam 2012

Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to attend the #ATLPajamaJam.  This event was created by the National Pajama Program to collect pajamas and books for under privileged children that are often housed in shelters and foster homes. Winter is considered danger season and the need is great. So the organization teamed up with several community leaders and created this wonderful event.

The event was held at Kipp Strive Primary School and it was very successful!  There were face painters, a bounce house, and snacks for all the beautiful children that were in attendance dressed in their favorite pajamas.  By the end of the day there were a total of seventy-seven pajamas raised for the underprivileged children of Atlanta.

I am happy that I had the opportunity to attend the #ATLPajamaJam, and can’t wait to see how the event turns out next year! Great job to the hosts of the event: Married with Two Boys, the Atlanta Tastemaker, Lipgloss and Binky, Bunnie Hilliard & Co, and 29 Prayers and Counting! To find out more about this worthy cause check out

By the end of the event there were a total of 77 Pajamas raised!
