The Lipstick Lineup’s first annual mixer kicked off on March 22, 2014 produced by the Atlanta fashion duo Kay Lynn and Cari Rene of LAYLLAH. Passionate about female empowerment and uplifting women in business, The Lipstick Lineup featured 6 female business owners from various backgrounds who fostered, enlightened, and educated guests about female entrepreneurship. The guest panel, hosted by Jasmine Akakpo and Somalia Ramin of Fusion Teen Talk Show, covered topics included startup capital, competitive advantages, mentorships, business plans, and the power of networking. The room also filled with 33 female owned and operating small businesses from fashion and beauty, to health and wellness, to travel and professional services, all for our guests’ shopping pleasures.
As we came together in this positive setting to uplift and empower one another in business, guests, vendors, and panelists enjoyed an eventful afternoon of music, raffles, giveaways, cocktails, complimentary pastries/appetizers, shopping, networking, and relationship building.
