I just stumbled upon your blog and noticed the last posting was a hair over a year ago. I was hoping Jade was found alive and well. When I researched for an update, I saw the obituary.
My prayers go to you and your family.
I couldn’t help but notice your comment about the police not taking the abduction seriously. I know all too well about that. You see, I found out a few years ago that I was abducted sometime during my infancy to replace another baby. I have been searching since then. The police know about the abduction and told me to keep quiet and “don’t rock the boat”. The National Center For Missing and Exploited Children refused twice to help me. I am finding out that I am not the only missing kid that has been abandoned by those that are receiving thousands to billions of $ per year to help find missing kids. I am also finding out that my parents are not the only parents that are being ignored and pushed aside in their effort to get someone to listen to them and find their child (ren).

my daughter and jade are super close and went to school and came home every day this school yr i cried so hard when claudette told me what happened. My prayers are with all u guys during this time of need. my daughter is heart broker, they were supposed to go the movies together sunday and i cancelled saturday due to me and my child being very sick we didnt want to get jade sick she is such a sweet lil girl. IF ITS CLOUDY SHE SMILES AND BRINGS THE SUN UP. let me pass on what her and my daughter have as an inside joke to bring a smile to ur face

Do you know if Jade & Brenda were seen anywhere in that 5 hours? How long was Brenda was at the casino before the attack? Nailing down the timeline could go a long way in finding Jade. With a 5 hour window of opportunity the search area is huge but narrowing that as much as possible would help a great deal. How long would it take to get from where Jade was last seen to the casino?

I just read the terrible news that she was found. I’m so sorry for your family and friends, one would think what type of monster would pick up a child just to kill her? This is such another sad situation that life keeps putting us through. I hope those homicide investigators and getting her to tall what happened. When I read the articl that said her father yelled out in court where is my baby that he was coming from the heart. You just dont take someones child a kill them and think you’ll get away with it!
Just received the update from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that this beautiful little girl is now an angel who has gotten her wings.
As a mother of two children, I am beyond heartbroken. Jade did NOT deserve this, and I write this with tears in my eyes, my heart shattered, my faith in this world obliterated.
To MzNicola, I offer my deepest condolences. Words cannot express how sorry I am for the loss of your GodDaughter. She is SO beautiful! She looks very much like my girls. The world is a lesser place without her.
